District level 78th Independence Day is celebrated in Anugul. On this occasion, District Collector Abdul M. Akhtar attended as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag and took salute in the joint parade. A joint parade was held later. A total of 35 parade teams from various colleges, schools and police departments of the district participated. The chief guest also awarded the winners of various competitions. In the end, students from different schools presented a colorful program.
