Anugul, 12/8: Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Abdul M. Akhtar, a district-level joint grivence program has been held at Kaniha Block Office. A total of 93 complaints have been received in the grivance, out of which 67 individual complaints and 26 village-based complaints have been heard. 8 complaints were settled immediately. 17 thousand 500 rupees were given to 3 people from the Red Cross Fund. The program was attended by various district level and block level officials including Additional District Collector.
Similarly, a public hearing program has been held in the Anugul district office under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector Pratap Pritimay. A total of 28 complaints were received in this program. District level officials from various departments attended the camp. The people who came to the camp filed various grievances including rural problems, health, rural accommodation, land tenure, personal problems etc. The district administration has promised that these grievances will be resolved soon.
